Canon For the Deluded: Just Clark II
This one's simple: the emotional heart for me of Superman for All Seasons, in all its "Just Clark" glory.
This takes place after Clark goes back to Smallville from Metropolis after hitting emotional bottom and giving up. There's a flood in Smallville, and of course Clark puts on the costume and goes out to save lives. In the middle of the storm, the Kents and Lana Lang (and the dog Shelby that you may have seen Clark slipping treats to in an earlier post) are swept into a ravine. Clark saves Lana and his mother and goes back to look for his father.
The voiceover by Lana is, in my personal deluded canon, the final word on the Superman/Clark dichotomy. I've even used it for an epigraph to a story. :)
