Aw, thanks so much! I've never written a "Five Times" sort of fic before, but I always like the ones that change tone at the end and build off the others to get a certain effect. Glad to hear it worked for you!

Thank you! Though I might put it more as "mundanity"--the little details of life that you see in the movies here and there (like Bruce polishing his own batarangs, or having to order costumes in gross). It does lead to a curiosity about the details of how life would be...even though the whole thing is ludicrous and collapses when you look at it more closely, of course. :) But I'm glad you like the overall effect. :)

Yay! I just finished the finalfinal draft (i hope please god don't make me revise it again) of my thesis and was feeling totally dead, this was just what I needed. The squeaky bed one killed me, Clark making squeaky noises with Bruce trying to be all passionate is the funniest image ever.

just a slice of their "mundane" life (how mundane can it be to have sex a hovering one feet over the bed? lol). You're right, it takes a lot of skill to sell this.

I believe that sasha_anu is Queen of Realistically Frustrating Sex--passing out when drunk, having your daughter walk in on you, it all cracks me up.

I know he didn't hit him, but I bet he would have if he thought it would be of some use. Which it wasn't.

He considered it and decided it would look too girly, so he stalked off into the night with dignity instead, lol. Not that Clark noticed either way.

Well, I'm glad I could take your mind off your back! Finishing and posting this definitely lifted my mood a bit. *hugs back*

Hey kitten! I don't remember why I was moping back when I first read this story, but I'm having quite a mope-fest right now, and decided to come read Music of the Spheres to cheer me up... and it worked again! it seems I need a dose of Jen-ness to keep the mope again. I'm doing homework and not feeling very motivated, but it's always so awesome to come back to your stories and find refuge in fiction while my muses sulk. So. Just thanks for sharing this! I just wanted to tell you that writing, no matter about what, really make a difference. Keeps this ferret just this side of depression, at least. I guess I just wanted to say thank you for everything :) I'm back to work now...

I don't remember why I was moping back when I first read this story, but I'm having quite a mope-fest right now, and decided to come read Music of the Spheres to cheer me up... and it worked again!

There's something oddly reassuring about not remembering why you were moping in the past, isn't there? I'll see old comments and be like, "I was in a bad mood...but I can't remember why!" So this, too, shall pass... :)
