You all have at least one: the family member who, when you mention you mention a particular friend's opinions, sniffs, "Oh, you mean an online friend. Not a real friend

Well, it's not plentiful, but there comes a point where you say, "Provide me with Internet access or I'm of no use to you for the remaining two days." :)
Weren't we just talking about this, or was that with DaMo and Darklactus?
You know, you were indeed discussing this in the Darklactus thread, and there's some alarming amount of overlap which I hope I can avoid making too obvious. :) I think it would have come up in my series anyway, though. Actually, I was just discussing a Star Trek fandom novella called the same exact thing with paxwolf which I had managed to forget entirely by the time I switched my title. :)

Well, there's only so many ways one could go with a universe:music concept, and the "music of the spheres" is pretty much the most prevalent way. A certain amount of overlap is inevitable. I suspect DaMo won't mind. ;)
Have a safe trip and enjoy yourself! I hate when people talk down the internet friends, but I guess it's hard to understand unless you've had one. *shrugs* I'll miss you!
The title of the series sounds neat, kind of.. sci-fi-ish for my crazy brain. I think I've seen far too much anime. Not that it has anything to do with the title. Ahem. I'll stop babbling now.
I wish you happy internet access! And if I do get my writing skills back, I'll make sure to let you know. It feels kind of silly indeed, but it's great help. Catching up with LJ is frankly impossible unless you have many hours of free time. Take care and load yourself with comics! *huuuugs*
I wish you many internet cafes and friend with net access on your journeys. If you should happen to layover in Minnesota at any time on your travels, beam me an email and I'll take you out for food and fun. (and internet access)
You're in Minnesota? I didn't know that. Ironically, I actually am in Minnesota right now (right in Minneapolis), but because I didn't get to check the Internet until now I don't have time to touch base with you, unfortunately. But since my sister and her family are located here I often come back to Minnesota (damo_in_japan and I got our PhD's at the University of Minn. and taught at St. Cloud State a while too). We'll have to see if we can touch base at Christmas! :)
No way! You're in Minneapolis?? So am I! Actually I'm about 10 minutes oustide in Hopkins, but close enough for govt work. Geez, I was probably only miles away from you when I was driving to work.
I'm so bummed that I missed you on your trip, but I'd very much love to meet you and your hubby for some Christmas cheer. Let's definitely plan on it! *G* (and I have an uncle who teaches at St Cloud state and a whole gaggle of fam here in the Cities, too.) Small world syndrome, eh?
Have fun on the next leg of your trip, and wave hello at Damo for me. ;-)
