... I'm sorry but, musical?

It's okay to be a freak, as long as you freak in the right direction.
Oh man, that just pretty much sums up the genre right there, doesn't it? (And is also slightly straight-white-anglo sinister, but LA LA LA NOT THINKING OF THAT...)

Musical! Alas, the songs are not exactly stick-in-the-mind variety, although "The Strongest Man in the World" ("Why must the strongest man in the world / Be the saddest man in the world?") has a certain bathetic appeal...

*snicker* Oh man... This musical totally made my week worth bearing, let me tell you.

So I read Why must the strongest man in the world / Be the saddest man in the world? and my mind immediately supplies this.

Very nice! It's the left eye twitching in annoyed outrage that really does it for me. :)

Also, upon viewing your icon I remember that I was going to blame you for messing up my latest story! I have Bruce speaking in Kryptonian and he pauses before delivering the final word of a sentence (*ahem* "come")--and then I remembered that he can't do that, because Kryptonian is VSO! *shakes fist* Curse you, Kryptonian! It still doesn't really work, but I've rewritten it to where the Kryptonian Purity Council might be lenient on me...

Hahhaaha! Oh God, what the hell? Emo Superman! hahha! This is beyond corny and yet... I love it?

I laughed during the whole thing but wow... Lois gets kidnapped and then Superman just stays there being a woobie and instead of trying to rescue her he just goes and commits suicide (which freaked me a little because I could never see Clark doing that unless it's to save someone else's life).

"Fear not! Superman has forgotten he's invulnerable and arrives back on the bridge next scene, dripping and annoyed"

Bwhahahaha that's just the best thing ever.

"It's okay to be a freak, as long as you freak in the right direction."

Oh Clark, sometimes I just want to hug you.

It is WAY beyond corny, and yet...yet...it was fun! What can I say, I really love camp.

Committing suicide with a huge anchor, no less! What a doof...he totally forgot he couldn't drown...*shakes head and hugs him*

I love musicals to death, even desperately cheesy ones but DAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA WHUT? WHUT?? XD

Speaking of musicals, wasn't she totally in Victor/Victoria? *checks Wiki* Yeah!! She was the gangster moll who got dumped for male!Julie Andrews! :D This is so not the proper use of that woman and her talents.

Also, that is not the proper use of a Superman. At all. But I still LOLed XD

This also features Loretta Swit (Hot Lips on MASH) as the Steve Lombard-clone's girlfriend. She's just so very much too good for this that she seems to be enjoying herself.

There are not enough scenes from this on Youtube! I must ask Dan to remedy this...

I did this one better--I actually saw this musical LIVE in a claustrophobic little cabaret theater...alone, of course, because I couldn't have anyone blackmailing me about how hard I snorted my brains out through my sinuses--and I was laughing WITH it! XD

There should be a competition between this and the Star Wars Holiday Special for Most Awful Program Known to Mankind. But I have to concede that the mind-blowing absurdity here still doesn't quite top 20 minutes of untranslated Wookiee dialogue, BEA ARTHUR SINGING, and virtual-reality mermaid porn starring Diahann Carroll.

(I just killed a few thousand neurons recalling that information...)
