to whom it may concern,
as someone whose family emigrated from america in the forties, i feel i'm not out of line in saying this. please, for the love of god vote for barack obama. i had a lump in my throat from listening to his speeches about the american promise, and how the glory of the country can be restored. and i have no real patrotism to america, not compared to how proud i am of being northern irish. barack obama isn't just a politician. given the opportunity, he's a leader. and besides, john mccain reminds me of a creepy uncle who'd bounce a little girl on his knee and get a kick out of it. and sarah palin seems determined on setting feminism back twenty years, well when she's not drilling for oil. fuck the polar bears, america needs oil, right? i'd hate to think if i was american, and i was raped and fell pregnant, according to sarah palin, i don't have the right to abort my baby. but i can own a gun. aces.
