awww, i miss my posting madness. i guess i'm back to it.
way too early this morning, some arab guy on the bus started speaking arabic to me. i tried to put on my most confused look possible, but it didnt work. after a paragraph or two from him, i slowly and carefully informed him that i don't speak arabic. maybe i was too harsh? haha, i'm always "too harsh." ah well.
classes still not solid. trying to get into polanah's african studies. schedule lookin pretty good though, if i may say so. i say this at the risk of speaking too soon. the good news is my Global Economy and World Politics professor is nuts; he yells everything. not too hot an idea for an old man. heart attack? haha, jk, astaghfirallah. the bad news is i have to hike clear across campus between 11am and 11:15; it takes all 15 minutes and then some. and that's me walking "fast." (my natural pace is "ridiculously slow" so "fast" is a big effort for me)
