I just had to put in a note about our wedding anniversary. It was an ordinary day to start. We both had to work and went about our usual days. All I could think of was going home to squeeze Mike and celebrate our time as a married couple and our love. Finally the day was done and we were together again.
I was excited to wear the dress I had brought a few months before waiting for a chance to wear it for a special night. Yes I am a silly girl but I love to "world premiere" special new things.
We had decided to write each other love letters in lieu of presents (Mike's suggestion). How could you not love this guy? We also made reservations at a restaurant called
Mill on the River. It was a lovely place and we ended up in the best seats which included a spectacular view of the water.
The food was so wonderful! We were both really happy with our selections which consisted of Prime Rib and Lobster for Mike and a fantastic salad and pork chops for me. Our waitress was a perfect balance of attentiveness and absence. She brought us complimentary dessert and champagne (well ginger ale for Mya and I). All in all it was a lovely evening.
The most important thing was we got to spend some leisure time together and celebrate how lucky we are to have one another. It was a beautiful night.
