Hmmm.
So.
It's been almost three months since I've posted a new entry. That's a lot. That's the biggest gap I've ever taken since the creation of this journal in 2003 (ninth birthday in a week!). And really, the only excuse I have is that I've started to feel like I've run out of things to say. Or at least things to write about at length. Life isn't all that exciting at the moment.
And, to be fair, it's not like Livejournal is all that active anymore. It's incredibly evident on the few entries I have posted. I can catch up on my f-list every morning within a minute. People have moved on to other platforms and to be honest, so have I. I swore that I wouldn't become one of "those people", but I did.
Tumblr is so much better for exposure for an artist. I hate that it's difficult to comment on each other's posts and you lose that sense of community that I've felt here, but I think it's a good place for me to post things.
This isn't me shutting down completely. I still read (most) of the posts on my f-lists and I comment every now and then. I just... won't be posting here as often. Maybe when the mood strikes me.
