Torchwood: Miracle Day
I don’t know why, but XfinityTV had Torchwood: Miracle Day streaming this morning, even though it's not supposed to air till tonight, so I watched. It’s down now, so I can’t help you. I’ll need to rewatch and pay a bit more attention, but here are a few thoughts.
• Oh Barrowman. I have missed your acting trololol.
• Oh Rhys, I have missed your charming Welshiness.
• OH GWEN, I HAVE MISSED YOU AND YOUR HILARIOUS FACIAL EXPRESSIONS MOST OF ALL.
• "It's not Touchwood, it's Torchwood." LOLOLOL IT'S LIKE THEY KNOW.
• Oh god, the green screen backgrounds on all those newscast thingies aren’t tracking. IT LOOKS TERRIBLE.
• SPECIAL AGENT OWEN HARPER, FBI.
• Rex, we in the US also have giant bridges that you pay tolls on. This is not something to get your boxers in a twist.
• Hmmm, so while everyone else in the world can’t die, Jack can? Interesting. Or at least he thinks he can't die. He can just get hurt and not heal, but it's not like everyone else in the world heals right away. SHOOT HIM IN THE HEAD, LET'S FIND OUT LOLOL.
In short, I’m looking forward to the rest of the series. Hooray, something new to watch!
This week has been not stressful for once. I’ve wrapped on New Project and now I’m in some weird limbo between projects, so I’m just floating around and helping out where I can. And I’ve been sleeping decently for the past two nights. Double hooray! And I don’t want to jinx anything, but I’ve finally been motivated to work on TWB and I’m about 2/3 of the way done with drawing. I’m going to ride this kick for as long as possible.
