The EEEEE parts:
OMG, I was so wibbly when all ten Doctors were shown. And despite the Journal of Impossible Things moment, I still felt obligated to shout out "OMG EIGHT" (which I had to explain that whole silliness to my dad. Woe)
AND AND AND when at the end, the Doctor was like "AND THEY BREAK MY HEART" when all his companions leave and/or forget him. Dudes. OMG. I think I let out an audible AWWWWWW.
AND THEN HE STAYED. He didn't go wandering off into the unknown! HE STAYED JUST TO HAVE CHRISTMAS DINNER. <3
David Morrissey was also love, BUT WHERE WAS MY BLACKPOOL HOMAGE DANCE SEQUENCE?
Even my dad watched with me and was like "WELL THAT WAS QUITE GOOD." I'm so glad my computer was cooperating this time and I was able to burn it to DVD and watch it properly on the big screen OM NOM NOM.
Of course, it had its faults. I'm not a fan of Cybermenz, but I quite adore Miss Hartigan's red dress and if I ever cosplayed Doctor Who, I'd wear that business. HELL YES.
Now I must wait for people to go away and watch again for a proper analysis, but the first time through is usually just me thinking "OMG NEW EPISODE OMG NEW EPISODE". "The Runaway Bride" is probably still my favorite Christmas special, but this is a close second.
And now it's waiting till APRIL? Sigh.
