qarylla got home late from class last night, and went straight to homework. Apparently a fire kept her on the T for an hour (not on the train itself!). We were up until midnight after all was said and done, and then the cat was extra-snuggly (and by snuggly, I mean trying to occupy the entire bed).

Because I wanted to do this LARP right (both because it's Utena and because I didn't have five to prep for like at Intercon), I decided to turn myself as much into Ruka as possible. Luckily, the cosuming part was fairly easy, so it was just a matter to changing the way my face and hair looked.

I remember now why I keep a beard. Shaving hurts. Maybe it's only because the last time I used a non-electrical razor was literally half a lifetime ago, but I am not keen on repeating that experience.
