Saru-chan has braved the rain and the car to got to the vet (and by "braved", I mean "whined constantly and tried to hide under everything"). Everything is nominal; she has been downgraded to "pleasantly plump", and her heart murmur is still murmuring in a relatively harmless fashion. Neither
ladysprite or I can track down the records from the ultrasound she had while she was a kitten; when that gets located, she may have an overnight stay for a new one, but based on just the stethoscope, she's not in danger. She also doesn't seem to be experiencing the expecdted appetite loss from the vaccine, as she is powering through the treats she was offered to get in the carrier before we left and at the vet's. At least we know she'll eat the pill hiding treats, in case she ever needs that kind of meds. Now she's reassuring herself that everything at home is where she left it, modeling her new green "I am vaccinated" tag and trying to figure out if she can eat a squirrel or bird without leaving the building.
[Edit 16 April 2007 @ 12:01 pm] ladysprite called, and the fuzzball does get another scan. She looks so enthused.
