It's been a long time...
It's been a long time since I've been on here. Not a whole lot has happened or anything. I've just been busy, especially with school coming to an end and everything. I can't wait until summer! I'm so tired of class, teachers, homework, and just people here. That's mean of me to say, about the people and all, but I'm just ready to be home. And then I'm ready to go to UConn next year! Woo who!! ;-) I filled out my housing and meal plans for next year. I'm a little irritated with the housing situation though. I didn't get to pick where I want to live. I only filled out questions about what type of living quarters I want to live in. I'm going to be angry if I get somewhere that's not close to my classes. I won't mind the walk in the nice weather, but I absolutely hate the cold and snow (just like everyone else). That's what will make me angry.
My dad is still not too happy with me going. I guess my mom and he got in a fight last Saturday when they were out. My mom said she just explained it to him a little more. She said it seemed like it calmed him down a little bit. We'll see when I get home. Ugh! I have to go home on May 1st (hey! that's May Day!) for a meeting for the pool this summer. I wouldn't mind so much but it's at 6 at night. So the meeting lasts an hour or so, and then I get ready to leave, and make it back at school at 830. Just a waste of gas if you ask me. What can I do though?
I just can't wait to get these classes done with. About 2 weeks of classes left, and then a week of finals. It seems like these past 4 weeks or so have been going so slow, but my days have been going fast. It's just strange.
I need to mail in my orientation form soon also. But I think I need to call them and find out for sure which day I can come because they give deadlines for turning the form back in and the deadlines are like 7 days before the actual orientation day. That's not going to work if I have to buy a plane ticket! I'll need to know at least 3 weeks in advance so the ticket is a little cheaper.
