Welp, I may in fact have a new car on Thursday. After researching the Vue's further (and discovering their tendency to rollover, as well as several other cars I was considering), I eliminated that from consideration. I know, female gearheads...it's the first sign of the apocolypse!

The tattoo didn't hurt too much...just felt like I was being pinched a bit. I'm known for having a high pain tolerance though, so don't go by me :P From what I've heard, the foot and the spine are the most painful places to get a tattoo, but I don't have any other tattoo-ed body part to compare it to.

Hmm...I never thought about the possibility that they had different roof structures. Now that you mention it, it does make sense. I'll have to ask the shop I go to about that.

And as for buying an import, I originally intended to buy American. I bought my first car last fall, which was a Pontiac Vibe. Of course, 2 weeks later I was in a bad wreck when some bastard who was on drugs and had a suspended license slammed into me :-/ I decided against getting another Vibe because it had NO power (It test drove fine, of course once I took it into the mountains it chugged), but I need a similar size/type of car. I looked into getting a Chevy MalibuMaxx, but it was missing a few features I needed (namely AWD). I really liked a couple other American cars (especially the Ford Freestyle), but they are all new for the 05 year, which I def can't afford!

It's safe to say I feel a bit guilty about getting an import, but at the end of the day, I gotta get the car I need.
