I guess I should say something more often rather than posting stuff from a quiz...
Well, here it is....middle of June. Almost 3 weeks have gone by for my summer vacation. Im in the middle of the semester of my Masters classes. They are pretty hard. I am taking 3 classes, which is more than Im used to for a semester. (Before, it was only 2.) The classes are overall easy, but what makes it hard is all the work they are making us do. I have to read 3 books for one of my classes, and we have to do it in 3 weeks. It sucks. The books are completely boring. Believe me, they are no John Grisham or Dean Koontz. The one I just finished was about accountability in schools and in the classroom. All I got from that was "teachers should embrace accountability". Yeah, whatever. The only thing I want to embrace right now is a float in my pool or a beer bottle. Another class I have to take is about technology in the classroom. I have to create a webpage, which is just loads of fun...*says that sarcastically*. Sure, creating webpages can be fun, but only when its like an online Survivor game. Not a freaking elementary school webpage. (Keep your mouth shut, Tuck. I know exactly what youre thinking about the webpage I created in college.)
Other than my boring ass college classes, life is pretty good. Im getting to see the Atlanta Braves play the Cleveland Indians play in Atlanta next weekend. So, watch TBS on next Saturday and watch me and my family with our shirts off spelling out BRAVES. LOL
Its amazing to know how much of an impact Ronald Reagan had on Americans. I was really too young to understand all that he did while he was President. But it is sad. I just watched the Reagans miniseries from Showtime on DVD last night. Boy, Nancy was a bitch. She was the puppetter, while Ronnie was the puppet. But who knows how much all of that was really true. But if it was, then damn. It was a good movie all in all. And James Brolin did a dead-on impersonation of Reagan. And then I heard about Ray Charles passing away today. Damn, its just been a depressing week. It makes me just want to curl up under the covers and hibernate.
