Highlights of Xiamen:
* Best Museum: Overseas Chinese Museum - makes you proud to return home as an overseas Chinese
* Also Recommended: Huli Shan Fort - you can just see Taiwan from here
* Best Food: Sha Cha Noodles - Delicious noodles cooked in special gravy with your choice of fillings
* Best Surprise: Trust Supermarket got lots of China goods to see
* Most Disappointed: Gulangyu was too crowded and touristy
Highlights of Fuzhou:
* Best Museum: Fujian Museum - Especially a gallery dedicated to Minnan Opera
* Also Recommended: Lin Ze Xu Museum - Small museum but very nicely done
* Best Food: Fuzhou fishballs - So many different stalls to try
* Best Surprise: Confucius temple - Surprisingly good gallery about education in Fuzhou
* Most Disappointed: White pagoda under renovation, can only view from a distance
Highlights of Putian and Meizhou Island:
* Best Sight: Matsu Temple on Meizhou Island - Really worth the extra travelling
* Also Recommended: Buxing Jie - Modern street but intersperse with curious old sights
* Best Food: Xinghua Lu Mian - Authentic taste with lots of oyster clams
* Best Surprise: Putian's Xinghua bookstore, lots of TCM books
* Most Disappointed: No time for Southern Shaolin temple
Highlights of Quanzhou:
* Best Museum: Taiwan Kinship Museum - Made you feel that Taiwan and China should be reunited
* Also Recommended: Quanzhou Museum - Very good introduction to Quanzhou
* Best Food: Mian Xian Hu - Mee Swa paste with your own fillings plus you char kway as side
* Best Surprise: Qing jing Mosque - The oldest mosque in China, very serene feel
* Most Disappointed: Guanyue Temple - Too crowded
