I am
participating in a fandom auction to raise money for Haiti relief efforts. I am offering "radical Toronto in a box" - which includes:
- something from the
Toronto Women's Bookstore, the
Native Canadian Centre of Toronto, and OPIRG
- burned copy of
Dreamtower, a documentary about
Rochdale.
- protest handbills/posters (including "Toronto Women Artists: Three Decades" poster from the 1983 International Women's Day in Toronto)
- copies of as many most-current radical publications as possible -> even the loony ones like the Spartacus League
- anything else you can think of!

(There's also a lot to be said about the degree of responsibility of Western imperialistic powers in destabilizing democratically elected governments, dumping aid, and decimating local economies. Many of which don't get a lot of press in the narrative of looters-scary/pitiable-brown-people portrayed in the media. Some links:
