Toynbee ideas in Kubrick's 2001 resurrect dead on planet Jupiter

I've dusted this thing off for another go. It's been years since I've been properly fannish - so that explains the gaps. And the first time around, I really was quite stand-offish and lurking in marginalia.

Here's a chronological breakdown:

2000 - X-Men Movie: whoa! fanfiction.net! smutty stories!
read: min. 2 novel length smutfic. mostly RogueéWolverine

2002 - 2008 Harry Potter: having waited out the 4th book, and now needing to wait out the fifth, I suddenly remember that foreign concept from a winter break two years previous.
read: SugarQuill, Fiction Alley, Livejournal, silverlake.net No pairing untried, no crossover uncrossed, and of course, the genfic. Snarry is the only one I never really got.

2007 - The Office US, Heroes, House MD: sidefandoms 1, 2, and 3
read: lj newsletters, trusted authors, the occassional rec.

2007 - 2008 The History Boys: reduced me a quivery little ball of jelly. Like it said on my profile page at the time: Samuel Barnett as Posner twists up my stomach in the funniest ways. I can't tell if:
- I'm terrified of turning into him
- I want to be him
or if
- I'm desperately in love with him.
read: drinkswithdakin, the play, the movie book, the screenplay, lj communities, fan forums, made icons, stuck a 'will follow to any project' tag on everytone involved.

2007 - Being Human, Doctor Who, Torchwood: sidefandoms 4, 5, and 6
read: lj communities, newsletters, browsing, recs, trusted authors

2007 - yuletide small fandoms!
read: all over the archives. contemplated the scariness of entering, with my fear of deadlines. decides to sit it out until life is more stable.

2009 - present My Girl: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!
coherence to follow
