It's one of those nights where actually I'm kind of sleepy and have reading to do, but just do not want to be at home. Ah, well. Those stories you describe make me snort in some form of ridiculous giggling. Reminds me of the stories I got to read for my own Creative Writing class ... admittedly, they weren't quite like that. (Only one of the two was really hard to read, and I honestly think that guy had some serious problems with grammar. Maybe it dumped him or something.)

If you're curious, one was about a guy who died and then got brought back to life and really wanted to die so started living his last week of life randomly and then didn't want to die in the end and Death got all pissed at him, and the other was a kind of cute fairy tale about a little girl. So, yours are more painful.

... I kind of want to read them.

They're longer than I feel like typing up, but if I get a chance I could scan them before I give them back to their respective authors so you can see. They're positively ridiculous.

And the first story you described sounds like it could actually be done well, but it also sounds like it probably wasn't. XD
