On my little post-it note that I use to plan my rotations I called this 'thats so sixties' - its a load of songs from the sixties!!

[01] Piece of my Heart - Janis Joplin
A version of this song is being used in the Cadburys advert at the minute, so if you like that, then...y'know. Anyway, Janis Joplin was a sort of folky singer from the sixties. And this song is very chilled...makes me want to put on my tye-dye and going frolicking in a field

[02] Me and Bobby McGee - Janis Joplin
This one is calmer, and still makes me want to field-frolick. Peace out, dudes...

[03] Subterranean Homesick Blues - Bob Dylan
The video for this is the coolest ever. But anyhoo, the song. Its quick and cool and very dude-ish, not so much a frolick-in-the-fields song, but a march-against-the-politics song, which is cool. I love Bob Dylan loads.

[04] Like A Rolling Stone - Bob Dylan
I really love bob Dylan. I'd forgotten how much I liked bob Dylan til I listened to this song so that I could write about it. Its lovely, seriously.

[05] Idealisation - Cosette
Its French. HAHA! Its quite cool and French, like lets-go-out-on-a-motorbike 60's.

[06] Laisse Tomber Les Filles - France Gall
Another cool French song. If you liked Poupée de cire, Poupée de son that I posted a while back, this is by the same artist. This is cool music, yo!

[07] She Loves You - The Beatles
What 60s post is complete without the Beatles? Well, probably a lot, but shuush. Its so darn cheesy, you've gotta love it really. SHE LOVES YOU, YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!!

[08] Eight Days a Week - The Beatles
Another incredibly cheesy Beatles song. And d'ya know what? there are only seven days in a week! But its about like how they need your love eight days a week, like, all the time =3 AWW how sweet!

[09] Surfing USA - The Beach Boys
I like the Beach Boys. They are very good, and if you like the beatles you will like the Beach Boys. C'mon who doesn't go to the sea-side and sing this? Probably anyone who isn't me or my brother, but its catchy and cool, ok?!

[10] Good vibrations - The Beach Boys
This isn't so poppy, but still quite...harmonious. The verses are actually a little trippy sounding. Its cool. Honestly, if you like the Beatles, the Beach Boys will be right up your street ^_~

[Extra] Swan Lake - ISIRTA
This episode is cool, because they are dancing Swan Lake, but because its on the radio, and it has certain visual limitations, its being commentated by sports people - who act like its the Grand National and stuff - its very funny. And in a bizarre way, this fits the theme as its from the 60's.

Comment if you take and let me know what you think of the stuff.

NB. The Beach Boys and the French songs are the only ones in mp3 format.
