I'd given up all hope...
Basically, I'd been given tickets for last August, but wasn't able to go. I mailed them to cancel, and said that because I was coming a long way and didn't know when I'd be back out there I wasn't going to be asking for a reschedule. They very kindly wrote me back saying that I could re-arrange for any time during October, November or December. I was so impressed, and grateful for the gesture. There was a real chance we could make a trip in December, so I waited...
Then the writers strike happened. Took away November and December as an option for me. 'Well, bugger' I thought. Late December I booked a trip for me and hubby. Couple of days later they announce they're going back on the air. So I take a shot. I reply to the mail offering my tickets, explaining the situation, and flat out begging. That was Dec 29. I thought it wasn't gonna happen. So to get this today... *flail*
