The MC competition
I wasn't planning on continuing my Livejournal until I returned to studying in Israel in Mid-February. But since everyone's always asking me all the time to continue doing it here in Minnesota, I guess I'll comply.
Well, lots of stuff happened since my last entry, but I'm not about to go into all that stuff. I'll just write about yesterday.
My dawg Roy Fry-Harding was in an MC Battle last night (ever see 8 Mie?,) at the Loring Pasta bar club in Dinkeytown. He got pretty far, but finally lost to the guy who won the $200. Roy was really distressed about it, I guess he wanted all or nothing, but there were 32 PEOPLE competing, so it's not an easy thing to win that. While Roy was away from the table, two separate gorgeous girls came up and started chatting with me for awhile, but I'm proud of myself for having too much respect for Adi to have continued farther than what progressed. Instead I told both of them about Roy, and pointed him out. When he got back to the table he told me about them and asked if I had something to do with it. I said no.
I'm kinda pissed that my car isn't running so smooth right now. I have to get it fixed tomorrow, then I'll probably visit my dad up North in the woods again.
