Wish I had Better News,...
So,....Today.
Started out with a bunch of regret and a S.N.A.F.U with the Un-employment process.
Felt like I was being reprimanded yet again.
So that kicked off a whole lot of regret that's been swimming around in my mind.
The Worst part about today, Was I come to find out........That a friend of mine passed away on the 10th.
For those who don't know,
Carter- Long time 'gamer and Patron of the 'Manor' Has passed on.
This is the part that Sucks Most royally.
Carter was a good man, Despite his demeanor. There was a genuine quality about his person that made it interesting to be his friend and to respect his points of view.
The Man helped me study for Culinary School in the dark night's when I was hanging out at 'Wildcats' Computer gaming Center. I got to know him after that. I would say that he got to know me as well.
He was there in the best and the worst of my times. All the while not passing judgment and just letting me figure out where I needed to go in life. With a little advice from him along the way.
I wonder if anyone has told Aron or Karina(sp?) yet.
Or any of the other Old Gamer's that would know him from the times in front of the College Library?
Maybe some folks who see my journal can pass the word along a Phone Tree or some such.

Carter,.....I will Miss you most terribly. You made a most important impression on me.
I wish I could make it to where the Service is, in time. However, It's planned for tomorrow (June 13th) and I live in Sequim. No way for me to get to the main-land in time.
Either way,... This is sad news. I was and still am Slightly devastated.
