Facebook is soon coming out with a new homepage design that will allow you to filter by friend group. This is a really key feature they've been missing.
Of course, it also needs a way to keep friend groups easily up-to-date. If they update the add-a-friend process so that you can select what friend groups a new friend is placed into, I will probably start using Facebook pretty intensely.
