I could have and probably would have died if things had gone according to the plan I set up in my mind back in January. I'd have been on the road, quite possibly in the middle of nowhere, when my appendix went bad. It would have burst, the temporary relief (because it actually feels better for a while after it bursts, according to the doctor) would

"Get FCC" looks like a great list; I think you're already a fine cook, though! Do you mean expand your repertoire?

And man, I really really want you to work on that webcomic because you've been talking about it for ages and I know you've a creative spirit...That, and you said I'd be a character, and I REALLY want to see this, haha.

I do mean that I'd like to expand my repertoire; thank you for the compliment. I consider myself a decent cook but I'd like to broaden my horizons a bit while also going back to basics. I want to learn to make the 5 Mother Sauces, for example, and some general chef techniques that I know I lack. If I spend a year actually working on this I want to see definite improvement, you know?

And I'm thinking that in order to see improvement on the writing/drawing, my best bet may be to actually just start the webcomic, no matter how much the art and pacing may suck at the beginning. There's no better way to see the improvement over time than to just start with the sucking, right?

Re. webcomic: exactly! Things never start out the way you want them to in your head, you just have to work out the kinks and put in the time. Which is why I always TALK about writing fantasy, but never do, haha. Gotta put in the time!
