So tonight is the big night….I’m finally going to see the Spice Girls live in concert.
I cannot believe that this moment has finally come for me. I never thought it was going to happen! It was almost not going to happen since I went to Ticketmaster too late and the good seats were already taken. Luckily I was able to meet a credible person who was selling extra tickets for some really good seats. It cost me a lot but in the long run I know they are worth it.
And I’ll be sharing this experience with my best friend...I remember the days when me and Suzie would wear our hair in pigtails...buy those platform shoes at Sketchers...record ourselves with her camcorder singing and dancing to Spice Girl hits...buying the merchandise...buying piles of magazines that had the Spice Girls featured in them...listening to the cds while hanging out...calling each other to tell the other that “the Spice Girls are on tv!"...imagining the day we would one day meet them and hang out with them.
All those past years of dreaming of seeing them at one of their concerts has finally been made reality. I can say now that dreams do come true and this by far has been one of my childhood dreams that I thought would never be fulfilled. By tonight it will be. And I’m going to milk it for all that it’s worth. Who cares if I’m 21 years old? By the end of tonight I’ll be 11 years old all over again! =)
