Well, I am just about (ten pages short) finished reading The Eye of the World, and I love it. I am super excited to delve into the next book, as long as I don't quit again like I did a year ago. They are really good books, and if you like fantasy then I would recommend them ( Read more... )

wow, you sure do sound busy, and with the whole wheel of time series ahead of you you will probably fill up pretty much every free moment with those.

I wish I could go to the MMYO volleyball, since I think only one sponsor from my church + our pastor could make it, but It's too hard to get a saturday off work :(

Part of that was due to the lackluster nature of the campaign. I didn't even realise it was coming up until the day before, which left me very little time to choose who to vote for. Honestly I am glad that at least people that didn't really know who to vote for didn't vote. There is someone I work with (a 40 something year old woman) who doesn't even know who the Prime Minister of Canada is. I'm glad people like that don't vote.

Good call on that one. However, how can you not at least pay some attention to politics? ie. read the signs!
