and I don't want to be weak . . . . but it sure beats bein' strong

Wonderful -- Full of Wonder?

Whatever it is, there is nothing quite out there which Bjork and Billy Bragg cannot fix.

I had an interesting time whipping about the campus today, trying to make sure that all my classes fit and work together as they should. I'm taking six full courses, including: sculpture, African American history, oil painting, math 111, physical anthropology, and color & design. Three art classes, so I hope that makes up for the 18 units part. I really am enjoying my schedule so far, though its tightly packed and a little nervous yet. Charles in asleep in my lap right now, and is courageously enduring the flex of wrists above his back. I missed him so much when I was away at my aunt and uncle's house during New Years -- he's the best.

I do not yet have any of my books, but I did get some kick-ass art supplies today. I already feel like I have catching up to do, and class just started! There are projects that I want to get at, you know. Why is there never enough time to do what you really want to do in life? I suppose there will be some day . . . . but not until I finish my AA degree at least.

I've been getting solitary, I've been getting lost in books, I've been working on my addiction to music.

Seems there is enough time for some things still, eh? I miss fighting with Anne.

"and if you swear that there's no truth and who cares --> how come you say it like you're right?"
I feel so used to falling -- even when I'm at my most sedentary I can still feel the fall in my lungs . . . . my hands, my lashes.

I need to go to sleep soon so that I can wake up earlier than I expect to. I looked for people around the campus today and I saw some oil painting kids, one grunge youth, and Ruben (strangely enough). And I saw Jen E., but then, as we agreed, that was serendipitous (and also because I knew she had the sculpture class after mine. I also saw Beverly, and then I saw Monique at Orchard Supply (which was cool). I forgot my cell phone though, and something funny is going on with the payphones on campus or I would have called you, Amanda. Vrrr.

If you see me, careen into me and then slyly tell me it was by mistake. I like that sort of thing.
