DONE!!! For a month, at least.
Well, I'm finished with the semester. It really hasn't hit yet, probably because I went home and instantly filled my white board with all the things I want to do and must do in the next month. Awesomeness is having 4 weeks off of everything for the first time since graduating from highschool. Every other time I've had some kind of part time work to go to or obtain. I fear I'm overly optimistic about productivity, but I guess we'll see what happens.
We're heading to Tucson for awesome vacation time. We'll be seeing the Titan Missile museum and a military aircraft museum/boneyard, as well as the Biosphere, and maybe do some horse-back riding. I think we plan to go to the movies and finish reading Les Miserables. We have just talked about maybe reading the Hobbit on our way there, since apparently the release is tonight and we could see it while we are away.
The one thing left to do this week before I leave is write my statement of goals for the masters application so I can get them to a favored professor who is writing me a recommendation letter sometime after finals. And we have to clean because Gen doesn't want to come back from vacation to a dirty house. Not so bad, doable before Saturday. I am a little bit sad though, because we'll be gone when several friends are having holiday parties. I don't do as well at parties as I do on an individiual basis though, so I'm not broken up about it. I can just see them individually over break! Does that mean I'm selfish or just an slightly introverted?
