My VERY first handknitted sock, knitted using this pattern/tutorial: http://www.cometosilver.com/socks/SockClass_Start.htm and using 4 dpns size, um, not really sure, I think about a US7, and using Aunt Lydia's Denim Crochet Cotton (didn't want to destroy nice yarn on the tutorial, but now that I'm wearing it, it's actually quite comfy).

Whew! I said I would finish it by the end of May and I just handed J and A their baby blanket. The baby is due in a week or two, so, yes, I actually gave it to them before the baby is born. yay! I took pics before wrapping it up this morning, but no time to upload the pics. finshed weaving in the ends last night and then immediately started working ( Read more... )
