Nemesis, Pt 2
Night two of "don't get stuck sitting on the couch" went well. I have the last load of laundry in the washer (as much as there ever can really be a "last" load of laundry), even after Phebe showed up with another basketful last night. I swear that kid changes clothes three times a day! Got a good bit of knitting done on the baby blanket for the baby girl due on Feb 28, might actually get it sent on time. ;D Got two loads of clothes and towels put away, and got all the way down to the floor in one small section of the craft room. All this activity thanks to ELO followed by St. Etienne on my sansa. I'll admit, I did sit in front of the tv for an hour or so while I ate dinner and then knit, but by 7:30 was on my feet getting things done. A little "after-dinner" coffee didn't hurt either. ;D
Time for a little "down-time" before heading to bed. I have to admit that I'm enjoying not getting up at 4:30 to go to the gym (membership expired last week). I'm able to stay up later, but I'm not getting any exercise in, so tomorrow I'm taking walking clothes and my sansa for my lunch break. It's supposed to get up to 62 tomorrow!
Oh, and I may be moving into another department back at the local office here instead of corporate soon. I'm working on that with one of the local managers here, moving into her dept. It's less money, but it's comparable to what I was making before my prmotion to my current position, so it won't be a hardship for us, and I am willing to cut a few corners, such as walking instead of paying for the gym, in return for not having to make collection calls all day. (yuck!) I hope she's serious cause I'm like a terrier, I;m not going to let go of the idea. ;D Already discussed it with hubby, and he said he's cool with it, cause he wants me to be less stressed and not have to work so many hours.
So all in all, a pretty good day!
