feeling stuck
my throat is still sore--it feels like i've been teetering on being full blown sick for the last couple of weeks.
tomorrow or the day after i plan on flying back to vancouver but unfortunately the flights are all looking extremely full. damn you, march break.
so i may have to purchase my seniority and pay 14 times more to get to my destination than normal. still cheaper than what one way tickets are costing between the two cities these days anyways (400-500 bux!).
anyway since i dont feel so hot i'm planning on calling in sick and staying in vancouver for two weeks or more to recup and spend quality time with my bf. karen and i also need to figure out the logistics of our hawaii trip coming up in the beginning of april.
yesterday my grandmother told me of her decision to leave the high park area --where she has been living for over thirty years! and move to north york. i am surprised! but now there is also the urgency that also comes along with this. people change, people evolve, people move. the urgency is that now i dont have a secure base in toronto and i will need to find a place to move into in vancouver as soon as deemed necessary. that is, since she is moving from a three bedroom condo into a tinier one bedroom. but we've still not found a place we want to move into just yet. it's hard with the vancouver market being at such a high. though i think prices are starting to go down just a tad lately.
