last day of work month
they've changed my schedule again today. at least i get something better--three legs, last one deadhead with draft pay and operating on the embraer190. i'll take that over a miami turn anyday. dont really like operating anywhere in the states to tell you the truth.
yesterday i was reassigned to work a havana turn. the weather was beautiful! and the men,...'nuff said. maybe it's the sun that makes them look so good, or the crappy food. ha!
everyone tells me the food in cuba is awful but i never really believed them until yesterday. i was hungry so i went into the terminal looking for something yummy to eat. all they had were lame looking dried up hamburgers and something that looked like a slice of bologne on a hotdog bun! oh let's not forget nachos and cheese sauce--something that looks worse than what you get at the theatre!
an old cuban man told me i was beautiful yesterday--that was sweet of him considering i was el crusto in my uniform and glasses.

sadly, i'm considering working either at a school or flying in order to make some extra cash to use up on my vacation in april. was doing some number crunching yesterday and basically i'll be completely broke if i take the three trips i plan on taking for april.
you only live once, right?
