Christmas is not over without watching the full length russian Nutcracker, a classic.
Brings me back to college when I fucked up a music cue during the nutcracker. Makes me cringe a bit whenever I think about it and it wasn't that noticeable. There was just nothing going on for about 20 seconds. I really do miss those days.
Next year, I'm going to attend some more ballet performances since I can actually afford them. I love me some Swan Lake.
It's good to be back home for the holidays after 2 years. Flying on Christmas eve was a lot better than I expected. I ended up volunteering to stay for a couple hours longer in Atlanta for a roundtrip voucher and I ended up in first class.
Everyone loved their gifts, I love my gifts (well some, but its the thought that counts right?!? lol) My mom decorated the most beautiful Christmas tree I've ever seen, it looks like from a magazine. Spent last night with the Cuban side of the family, ate pork and rice. Today I spent it with the Dominican side of the family, ate some more pork and rice. Sigh. Definitely feels good to be back. =)
Might go to the beach tomorrow to walk around. Catch up on a couple movies. Take some friends out for dinner. Shopping with the crazy amount of gift cards I have. Then huge party for New Years Eve.
