Commuting

Oh the life of a commuter. Every day it is the same mindless traffic. But I guess have to share my on ramp with the most mentally handicapped in the Bay Area. That and the people who control my metering lights are the most maniacal, it's like every week they are performing some type of a psychological experiment on the drivers.

Every week it changes, one week it is on, one week it is off. That I can handle, but when they turn it off and the idiots I share the road with are so used to having the light on that when it goes off they get confused and still stop at the lights! INSIPID MORONS really know how to get me going in the morning. With this whole invisible stop sign act, it takes longer to get on the freeway than when they just have the metering lights on. It takes all my energy in the morning to keep me from laying on my horn until I get on the freeway (usually five minutes). Obviously everyone on this on ramp fails the experiement CalTrans is having on this on ramp.

Now I know five minutes doesn't seem like too long, but add that on to a 30 minute commute with the same mentally challenged drivers and it does add up.

At least its no where near as bad as LA traffic, but still at least in LA people know how to deal with traffic on a daily basis. Bay Area commuters just act confused and don't know how to keep the flow of traffic going.
