Ramblings
I was over at my mom's this weekend and just got back in. I got to see my kitty and we totally re-bonded. It was adorable. God I love that cat. She kept curling up in my lap and making my mom and her boyfriend jealous because she never sits on anyone. Just call me the cat whisperer, lol. Also, there's nothing more soothing than the sound of a cat purring right next to you. I could listen to that all day long.
On a separate note, I ended up going to the clinic on Thursday because I'm still not over this flu I caught back in November and it's getting ridiculous. The doctor said my sinuses might be irritated so he prescribed an antibiotic and said that should clear up my cough as well. And then he looked in my throat because it's been hurting me on and off for over a month and it's driving me crazy. But he said it looked viral which grrrr. What is this annoying virus that won't go away? I also have a sneeze. So far I've been taking the pills for three days but I haven't noticed a difference at all. My throat is still sore, I still sneeze and I feel stuffed up. And my cough worsened yesterday. Is that normal? Hell if I know...
And because I had been planning on getting the H1N1 vaccine I asked him if it was a good idea. But he told me not to get it until whatever I had has cleared and he said even after that he still wouldn't recommend getting the vaccination. I must admit, I found that quite surprising to see a doctor against the vaccine.
Anyway, enough babbling. I should get ready for bed and I have to take my antibiotic.
