Just Surrender...Already

Went on a road trip Friday/Saturday. Glenn and I met up with some school folks to check out Just Surrender's CD release show in Poughkeepsie. Let me just say...It was a good time by all. I got to see my boy Adam "Quarters" Young, and many hugs were exchanged. Nicholas Stark and his sibling Sir Chino of the Land of Cort also graced us with their

"Hardcore" makes me laugh so hard...there's this local band called "Unarmed Assassins" and they were playing with a bunch of local bands a couple of months ago at a school nearby. Well, unfortunately, they got the plugged pulled from the amps by the school janitors. Instead of coming down off stage gracefully and showing some respect to the school that hosted 3 of their songs...they started screaming, cursing, and throwing their shoes around the gym. Needless, to say, we left. But it's sad to say that there's people like that destroying a great scene.

These little kids running around are idiots. They have this pre-conceived notion of what a concert is like, but in actuality, it's a fantasy. Just enjoy the show and have a good time. You can punch your friends after the show.
