Wrong Impressions
It has been a while since I have been on here. With school and all that has been going on, it has been hard to get on and find time to type. I am a bit relieved though. I guess I should start from the beginning. I met a girl Tuesday and had a nice long date walking around campus. She didn't call me back until today. I was kind of worried that she might have been avoiding me but today she called saying that she wasn't but she lost her phone. That made me feel a bit better but now I will have to wait until Monday and see if anything comes of it.
This is one of my only weekends in Statesboro. I asked my roommate if I could tag along with him tonight and he agreed. It is very unlike me to do that but he agreed and I wound up having a very good time with some people that go to Southern. I love my roomate. He is honestly one of the best guys I have met at Southern, he will go a long way.
After a while at the Daily Grind, a coffee shop up in the boro, I offered a girl a ride with me to Huddle House. She agreed and the only reason I did it was because I knew she felt uncomfortable driving her new car. On the way back, I mentioned that I was glad to see her again, I share a class with this girl, and she said that she didn't know about a relationship with me. I was shocked to say the least. I asked, "What relationship?" Apparently she thought I wanted to start a relationship with her. I felt a little embarrassed giving her the wrong impression. I simply stated that no, I was not looking for a relationship with her but that I would like to get to know her better as a friend. Damn, that was a little embarrassing. However, it is late and I am just finishing watching the funeral of the Holy Father. I will write more later.
