today's experience
My story for the day.
I've a condo unit and it came with a great parking slot right by the elevators. But I guess others share my view, and i've had past experiences finding some other car parked there. Today, I needed to drop by to take care of something quickly before returning to work, and, someone was parked there again! When I hailed them saying it was my slot, the person driving countered they were about to leave. No regrets, no apologies. I know it's not a major issue, and maybe the guy was feeling anxious to get out too, but, since I had to drive forward to let them pull out of the slot, and, being lousy in backing up the car, I've to bear feeling irritated for the rest of the day.
Now, I know why some countries get angry when they find strangers fishing in their shores!
There's of course a simple solution to this, it's just to act as good neighbors, and be a bit more conscious in respecting each other's designated space! And, if you happen to do something wrong, be remorseful and apologize sincerely to make up for it, even by a little bit!
:-) ahhh... now that I've vented, I feel better! Hmmmmph...
