Today i feel that the world don't pray enough. The only way we talk to God is through prayer, and without prayer we can't hear what God is calling us to do. Jesus calls us everyday and we fail to listen, that faintest whisper passes us by, and it could change the world. We harden our hearts to him and we pass up the opportunites that Christ haven given us to spread his holy and precious word. We take steps too big in our lives and we fail to pray and ask God to give us the strength. How can we continue on going like this? Prayer is such a essential part in the Christian walk and God expects us to pray not only for ourselves but for other's also, leaders, friends, enemies. I Timothy 2:1-6."I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time." In Isiag 53:12 "Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors." This verse tells us about how Jesus is our intercessior, and he talks to the Father. The Holy Spirit tells Jesus what we are trying to say and then Jesus receieves this and tells the Father God. "Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them." Hebrews 7:25, God is our intecessor he is the one who is constantly interceeding for us, on our behalf and he will continue to do so until the end of time. Until that day when we see him in person, we will be with the saints and talk and walk with him down that Golden road, with those pearly white gates! God is always welcoming people into his kingdom and help spread the word of God, and He has always sought people that would "stand in the gap" for others. Ezekiel 22:30-31 says, "And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord God." We should discipline ourselves to be in prayer and to take the time out of our lives to give God a little back, God gave us our whole life and we can at least give him back a little. I pray that this message will touch the hearts of others and will put something to pray about in your prayer. Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Christ will give you the strength to witness and walk with him if we just ask for it! He is our provider and shelter. He is our refuge and strength! Amen? Well i hope that this message will strengthen your walk with God and your prayer time will grow and your walk with Christ will be stronger. Thanks for reading this. Sometimes I ask myself what do these words i write mean? And only God knows what this is going to do for people and i give him all the glory. Until next time.
