20 bucks huh? Didn't have to give him that much. But that was a good thing of you to do.

You probably won't see the guy again, but at least you helped him out.

One time at Wal-Mart, a woman and her daughter approached us and did pretty much the same thing. I think my mom only gave her $5 or $10.

If he needed the money, then you did a wonderful thing in giving him that much so graciously. And even if he didn't need the money, maybe he just needed someone to be kind to him. Hopefully if he's ever put in the same position you were in, he'll remember this experience and act accordingly.

On my way to my friend's house in Gulf Breeze, a guy approached my truck and said his vehicle broke down and his hotel is on the beach. I said I was only going over the bridge (which I was, that's where my friend's live) but he said that's okay and asked to hop in the back, which I said, sure I guess.

Dropped him off a the Mcdonald's over the bridge. Told him good luck and left.

i understand the struggle. you dont wana give money to someone to support their bad habbits. you did right to resist i think.

maybe it was the holy spirit working on you to give to him. we have no idea what God will do when we have to fully rely on Him for our financial support. God will bless you for it.
--whatever the guy decided to do w/ the money know that god is in control. :)
