It's the 4th of July -- what else?
I had to work 8-5 today but didn't leave until 6. Having a BBQ dinner with neighbors, then driving to the lake w/ my sis to watch fireworks. Can't stay up late 'cuz I have to work at 9 tomorrow.

Memorial Day
Thanks to our military...we wouldn't have our freedom if it wasn't for those who serve our country. God bless those who served, those who died in combat, and those who are currently serving.
Last night I caught the last hour of We Were Soldiers on CBS. I have the DVD already but watched it on TV anyway.

great Christian books
So far, I've finished the first 3 books of the "Galway Chronicles" by Bodie and Brock Thoene: Only the River Runs Free, Of Men and of Angels, and now Ashes of Remembrance. Not sure if there's a 4th book or not...hard to tell from the ending, so I'm gonna surf the Web to find out ( Read more... )
