So...I just want to go to bed. I never have free time. I mean I do have some fun every now and then, but I haven't had time to just sit in my room and do nothing. I miss that. I like being by myself every now and again. It's a good thing.

In other news, the semester is almost half over. Somehow, I feel both that it just started and that it's been going on forever. I am so conflicted about so many things. I was never this way last year. The biggest thing for me is this new approach to acting that we take in almost every junior level class. Some days I think it's wonderful and works well and others I think it is the stupidest way to go about acting. This year is just so incredibly specific and structured. I probably won't know how I feel until the end. We just got our scenes and I will be doing the end scene in Awake and Sing by Clifford Odetts. It is such a beautiful play. It's a lovely little love scene with lots of crying and pleading and wonderfulness.

Speaking of that, I just saw my schools production of To Kill a Mockingbird Saturday night and it was kind of amazing. We usually have one show a semester that is just wonderful. It just happens that way because of the material or the director or because there are only so many good actors. I just remember crying from the end of the trial till the end of the play. There was cartainly a few "ugh" moments with some peoples acting, but they were few and far between.

Yay good acting!!!

Well I have to head off to the Brind School of Theatre Arts (that's the new name of UArts theatre school) convocation today. Should be fun...well maybe that isn't the word.

Later days!
