news about new stuff
william just got his class date for officer training. 11th january, which means we will be back in the states a few days before that. we'll be at ft. benning, georgia for about a year. it's close to florida, so i can't complain.
i'll just have to pack as much traveling into the next six months as humanly possible. i want to go back to paris. i want to go to italy. i want to do lots of things. meh. i don't have nearly enough time. maybe william will get stationed over here again after he's an officer. he should know in the next few days where he will be going after his officer training is completed. i hope it someplace interesting. ft. lewis would be great--that's in washington state. i've never been to the northwest, so i would enjoy that. also, we could take an alaskan cruise. hawaii would be cool, but island living is sometimes annoying. we lived in guam for two years and though i enjoyed it immensely (i consider my time there as the best two years of my life), my mom hated it because the islanders were dumb and there was nothing to do (she didn't scuba dive). as much as i hate the cold, alaska would be a cool place to get stationed too. i'm thinking we will get a crappy place though, since we've already had a really cool one. cosmic balance and all that. we'll see. anyway, at least we know when we'll be back in the states.
