Tonight I had a wonderful date with Seth. We went out to eat at Lucia’s, an amazing little place in Uptown that I’d never been to. After dinner (of broccoli salad, chicken salad, to-die-for bread, onion bread pudding, and a cheese/onion crepe) we went and had Sake at some place down the street. We then finished the evening at the Guthrie seeing, “The Intelligent Homosexual’s guide to Capitalism and Socialism with a Key to the Scriptures”. It was very good, though very Kushner-like, for it was incredibly wordy, and 3 hours and 40 minutes of very very intellectual talk is exhausting. Needless to say, it was mind blowing and has created a lot of thought in my head.
Summer is here. I love not doing anything. As they say in the play, “My father worked so I could have ‘free time’”. And I’m loving it. The weather is beautiful, and not having to work all day every day (which I will have to do soon enough) is delightful.
Tomorrow i plan to... lie in my backyard in my underwear, read my book, listen to music, bathe in the glory of the sun, and maybe drink some margaritas.
