No, he brought the wall down, Soulless!Sam says so. *Itches to hurt Castiel* I was kind of hoping we'd see more of Sam's return to his body, but I think this was just enough to keep us hanging until September. I'm glad they didn't kill Lisa and Ben but poor Dean! *Huggles both boys* Kripke was in top form as always!

Bah! And I just went back and realized I'd mentioned earlier that Soulless!Sam told him that... Heh, I'm so flaily I can't even remember my own words! I was a bit disappointed they didn't show more of that, but maybe they will revisit it or clue us in next season. Both boys went through so much in this one... *also huggles them both* Kripke done good!

They're gonna have to deal with it since we were left with a cliffhanger. Wonder how they're gonna deal with Castiel going super-villain.

I have to admit that part of me was wondering if this was 100% our Sam - almost like the YED asking Dean at the end of AHBL if what was brought back was 100% pure Sam. I guess it was the way he stabbed Cas, although I know he was trying to stop him from doing all this. Hopefully I'm just overthinking it and all we have to worry about is how they'll deal with it when season 7 starts.

That's a good question. I guess they'll try to convince him somehow to come over to the good side, but who knows how that would work out...

Honestly? I feel cheated by being left out of Sam's whole process. They tell us that the whole episode was about Sam basically, but I felt like it was about Castiel, and for someone who has a huge dislike for the guy, I wasn't too happy.

I want to know what happened to Sam in hell. Like, now.

And, I think that the hell!Sam gave dream!Sam a god-killing knife, because when Sam comes to help, he PICKS up a knife that stabs Castiel and doesn't work. So yes, Sam still has that random knife that will kill Castiel *totally hopes, even though I use to love Cas ( ... )

I'm thinking that they'll deal with it when the season starts since when Sam showed up to help Dean and Bobby, he was having flashbacks. They gave us just enough to keep us begging for more.

True. But I'm really impatient. Aha. Do you mind if I friend you? ;)

Yeah, I do feel pretty let down by that. At the end it seemed like Sam coming out of this was just too easy - and it probably wouldn't have been if we'd been let in on the whole process. All they gave us were those tiny little flashbacks while he was going to help them against Cas.

I'll be pissed right along with you if they gloss over this in season 7.

Mm, I like to think Sam still has that knife, too.

The wiping of Lisa and Dean's memories didn't sit too well with me. Aren't they still vulnerable in a way? Just because they don't remember Dean, whatever monsters that are aware of his link to them could still use them as a bargaining chip.

I really didn't want to see Balty die. :( This whole situation with Castiel is really effed up. Ha! I think I like your opinion there - that would be pretty cool to see.

(btw, I love your icon!)

I definitely prefer Lisa and Ben's fate to their being killed off, but it's really bugging me that this is apparently something Dean just… did. Without consulting Lisa about it. I'm with Sam on this one. :/

I'm… very ambivalent about this direction with Cas. One of the things that has me uneasy is that they've essentially done it before--with Sam. (Originally devout guy ends up appropriating more power than is healthy, must essentially become different class of being to do it; obviously this is a bad idea, and they should have known it, because Dean told them so. And both times, the show has made their essential sin less hubris, more disobeying Dean.) I just… don't know.

Yeah, this is better than being killed off, no doubt about it, but it still doesn't sit right with me. *also agrees with Sam*

I don't know what to think about the direction with Cas either. I honestly thought that he was going to fall/become human. This kind of took me by surprise. I agree, there are a lot of similarities to what was done with Sam, the whole "road to Hell is paved with good intentions" thing. Curious to see how this is going to play out now...

Wow all valid points and my poor brain is just stumped how can you possibly hope to kill something that is god like yet wearing a meat suit? answer you can’t not even dean sam and bobby can pull this cuope off if they did all hell would literally break loose but i didn’t see the god cas coming i thought he was going to convert them to fight raphael’s army instead he just blew him away like lucifer did to him in swan song it’s kind of ironic in swan song dean ask cas if he was god he told him no now in this cliffie he’s a god like creature go figure.

Wow good point about the irony between this and Swan Song where Dean had asked Cas if he was God. I'd wonder if this was foreshadowing in a way but probably not. I don't see how they could ever kill him either, I guess they would have to try and turn him to the good side somehow. It's going to be interesting to see how they are going to deal with this in the new season.

I love the show for Jensen and Jared but that's not the old Supernatural. What I fell in love with. And Jared was so excellent. Too bad there was no time for him to act. The episode should have been all his like they promised us.
Hugs youbb.

Oh I agree with you hon. The show is so different now from the early seasons. Jared did a great job and I was disappointed that there wasn't more Sam in that episode. :/

*hugs*
