Honestly? I feel cheated by being left out of Sam's whole process. They tell us that the whole episode was about Sam basically, but I felt like it was about Castiel, and for someone who has a huge dislike for the guy, I wasn't too happy.
I want to know what happened to Sam in hell. Like, now.
And, I think that the hell!Sam gave dream!Sam a god-killing knife, because when Sam comes to help, he PICKS up a knife that stabs Castiel and doesn't work. So yes, Sam still has that random knife that will kill Castiel *totally hopes, even though I use to love Cas
( ... )
I'm thinking that they'll deal with it when the season starts since when Sam showed up to help Dean and Bobby, he was having flashbacks. They gave us just enough to keep us begging for more.
Yeah, I do feel pretty let down by that. At the end it seemed like Sam coming out of this was just too easy - and it probably wouldn't have been if we'd been let in on the whole process. All they gave us were those tiny little flashbacks while he was going to help them against Cas.
I'll be pissed right along with you if they gloss over this in season 7.
Mm, I like to think Sam still has that knife, too.
The wiping of Lisa and Dean's memories didn't sit too well with me. Aren't they still vulnerable in a way? Just because they don't remember Dean, whatever monsters that are aware of his link to them could still use them as a bargaining chip.
I really didn't want to see Balty die. :( This whole situation with Castiel is really effed up. Ha! I think I like your opinion there - that would be pretty cool to see.
I love my icon too :) I have a lot of pissed-off Sam icons, aha.
And the thing is, we were told about how this episode was Sam-centric, but I only felt like the first half was centered on Sam, and the rest, Castiel, and fuck if that didn't annoy me.
They most definitely are vulnerable. I think Sam had every right to confront Dean about it.
Yeah, I mean, it would have made more sense if they just said "It'll be a little more about Sam" or something like that than Sam-centric. I thought it started off strong and promising as Sam-centric, but that kind of fell off by half the episode as it got into the Castiel stuff. Annoying...
Yep, I was right there with Sam on that one, and I wanted to hug him when Dean said he'd break his nose if he mentioned Ben and Lisa again. :/
Me too! I've been re-watching season 2 lately and I still love so much the final scene in Croatoan when Sam tells Dean "Whatever burden you're carrying, let me help." I miss those days...
BTW, thanks for friending me! I friended you back :)

This bothered me too. I thought the same thing! I feel like they could be in more danger from not remembering anything. They may use that next season at some point. I agree with your reaction to the punch in the nose comment--ouch indeed!
It'll be interesting to see if the boys and Bobby can get Cas over to their side. I was very sorry to see Balty go--I love Sebastian Roche!

It started off very strong and promising as Sam-centric, and then did fall off as Castiel came a part of it.
I wanted to be all, "Dean, I get it, you're hurting, but how about you let Sam help your hurt like ya use to?"
