Thanks for commenting. I think you hit the nail on the head there. Comments that MS and AT have made lead me to believe they think the original 3 characters are still friends. It does seem to be the laziness of the writers and their heavy focus on Vala (and Mitchell to a lesser degree).
Season 1-3 are also my favorite seasons because, as you said, they didn't focus too heavily on any particular pairing. We had a nice team vibe and had nice moments between each character. They've really dropped the ball this season mostly due to the focus on Vala. It does seem like they want us to just assume Sam, Daniel and Teal'c are still friends because they've been friends for so long. Sounds like laziness to me.
I feel the same way about the last 2 episodes. The one for this week sounds a bit Vala-heavy, which may also translate into a lot of D/V. I'm also hoping against a D/V kiss in the finale. Nothing has been said for sure about that, but I have this feeling.... All in all, if we don't get any moments between Sam and Daniel, Sam and Teal'c, and Teal'c and Daniel (as well as all 3 together), I'm going to be very disappointed. There should be some tribute paid to their friendship. I believe AT said there was a nice moment between Sam and Teal'c, but I'd hate for them to exclude Daniel for the sake of D/V.
I know what you mean about Our Stargate. I used to lurk/post over there, but I was flamed by a D/V fan and it seems there's a lot of Sam hate there (I remember what they said about her when she came back in Beachhead... was awful), and a big obsession with D/V. It does sound like a lot of them want it to be the Daniel/Vala show. I know some of those shippers are still hoping MS stars in the 3rd series (despite the fact he already said it was a rumor), so they can start a campaign to have both him and CB on it - The Daniel/Vala Show. People are entitled to their opinions, but I've just grown weary of the whole thing.
