Good times in the ER.
I ended up going to the ER today.
On Monday night I broke out in hives for no apparent reason. I thought it was a mosquito bite at first, but they kept spreading and today my arms and hands are swollen.
On top of that when I got up yesterday morning I passed out in the kitchen. I thought it was an isolated incident, but then the same thing happened this morning in the hallway. I managed to give myself a nice goose egg on the back of my head.
I called mom at work and she came and brought me to the ER. The figured out that my hives were hives and but couldn't tell me why I had them. They couldn't find a reason why I had fainted, because all of my test results seemed normal.
So all the doctor did do was prescribe a few days of steroids to get rid of the hives and he told me to follow up with my primary care physician about the fainting.
