the swalden experience

I'm going into SWalden to find a small traveling suitcase for my trip to York (and wherever else I may end up).

• I hope I shan't get kidnapped by any more Polish busdrivers

• I hope I shall find a suitcase for less than twenty quid

• I hope the guy from the choir doesn't call me to make part recordings for the group so I can have a day of absolutely no commitments

• and I hope I eat properly before I leave so I'm not tempted to do (another) shop of things I don't need at Waitrose (which is full of lovely food that is far more expensive than Tescos).

Wish me luck!

ps - I may be getting a pet rabbit! a lass from school, Sophie, said her boss is trying to get rid of her house bunny (lol). And even if I do leave the country eventually, Soph said she'd have it so it needn't be abandoned and sad. Yaye!

ADDIT: I did get a suitcase - it's sassy and blue and cost £15. I ended up making the recordings with Edward and they were really bad but lots of fun! I didn't get kidnappped once but took a surrepetitious video of a guy who was stoned and standing beside the building across the road from the bus stop. I was really hungry the whole time but only bought a steak pie (not a real pie at all but more of a steak tart - so wack!) from Dorringtons.

So how about That?

saffron walden is ridiculously quaint, have you got a rabbit cos i don't want.., hurrah! for immigrant bus drivers
